Snow Corporation is an application developer founded in 2016 in Seongnam, South Korea. This developer operates as a subsidiary of Naver Corporation. Before using Zepeto, users must first register via email or connect their social network accounts. Facebook, for example.
After that, users can create their own avatars, from the look of the face to clothes. Zepeto has four main menus, namely Play, Discover, Message, and Profile. On the Play menu, users can take their own photos or with friends using their respective avatars on Photobooth.

Unfortunately, in the midst of its popularity, an issue emerged that said Snow Corporation was tracking or recording user data.

"We ensure that there is no tracking, or any tracking activity against someone or object whatever happens in the Zepeto application. We only use a microphone when the user records videos using the camera in the application to do screenshots on the video," explained Snow Corporation.
